The Parrotts welcome Scott and Susan Burbank to the marriage mentor leadership team.  Scott and  Susan are managing all aspects of the Marriage Mentoring Initiative, whose goal is to wake the sleeping giant of Marriage Mentors across North America.

“The Burbanks are a true gift to our efforts,” said Dr. Les Parrott, “and we could not be more grateful for having such high caliber people join the team.  Their character and skill sets supersede anything we could have ever hoped for.” 

Scott and Susan are a husband-and-wife team who are passionate about investing in other people’s lives.  Since their marriage in 1978, they have mentored high school students, young adults and more recently young marrieds. Both have spent years in the corporate world.  For the past 15 years, Scott, Director of Operations at Microsoft, was responsible for launching new products and building multiple programs including the founding of a group designed to incubate new business models for Microsoft. Susan has started two small businesses and designed several new ministry programs in the mega church world.

The Burbanks love adventure.  Most recently they sailed their 35 foot sailboat across the Pacific Ocean to a record setting first-to-finish in the 2010 Victoria to Maui International Yacht Race. In 2011 they sailed from Seattle to Alaska and back.  

Scott and Susan are passionate about making marriages better and see their partnership with the Parrotts and the Marriage Mentoring Initiative as a way to tangibly change the world.
